Welcome to the website of filmmaker Neil Mcenery-West.

Neil is currently in development on his debut feature film,  Alpha. The film is being produced by Christine Hartland, written by David Lemon, script edited by Kate Leys, and has recently taken on board Sara Deane as Director of Photography.

In 2008 Neil’s 30 minute short film Undertow won Best International Director and Best Actor in New York. The film also recieved 3 x international Best Picture nominations and played internationally at festivals around the world.

Renowned Guardian Newspaper film critic Peter Bradshaw dedicated one of his Cannes film festival blogs to Undertow, picking it from over 2500 films in the short film corner and praising its innovation and style.
